When humans navigated intricate tapestries & delved in complex realities

“All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence, and then success is sure.” — Mark Twain.

This week, my good friend, I will call Ola, sent me yet another funny AI-related post that had me spitting out of my early morning coffee, in laughter. Many of his shares do that to me. This post, however, was on the X platform (formerly Twitter), by the English computer scientist, essayist, and investor, Paul Graham, who is perhaps best known for his work (mostly inspirational writing) on the programming language Lisp, and his former startup Viaweb. Graham is also the co-founder of the very influential startup accelerator and seed capital firm Y Combinator, and author of Hackers & Painters: Big Ideas from the Computer Age.

In this post, he relays his reaction upon receiving a proposal for a novel. I think his reaction is not only timely but also resonant because many of us have been there. You receive a sales email or reading something and think: hmmmmm.
