Hailing from various corners of the globe — Hong Kong, Boston, and Toronto, Canada — these creative minds converged, both physically and virtually, to explore the uncharted territory of designing for AI and other emerging technologies. The overarching goal of our session was to delve into what designers needed to equip themselves with in this rapidly evolving landscape. We addressed a number of factors leading up to the necessity for such a session and focused on three key drivers for this session: the shifting tech perspectives, coupled with the ethical imperatives of data-driven design and lastly the challenges of navigating the data governance maze.
