If you’ve been following my blog posts more recently, you’ll notice I often kick things off with a quote. I don’t usually go into them much, letting you draw your own connections and interpretations. But today, I’m breaking that pattern because I want to talk about a quote from Dante Alighieri that really hits home, especially in our current climate of political indifference.

To me, this quote is all about the critical need to get involved and take action when faced with societal issues. It highlights the dangers of just sitting back and doing nothing when times get tough. And trust me, I’m not alone in this thought — history has shown us time and again that our world can go through some serious crises, and finding a moral high ground seems harder than ever, but itis not impossible.

Rather than receiving guidance and strong moral values from political leaders, we often encounter a stark — and yes, I’ll say it — blatant type of indifference that can leave even the most optimistic among us searching for answers.
