The Western ideal of a corporate uniform has traditionally emphasized formal attire, accompanied by a specific range of hairstyles, intended to project professionalism, authority, and uniformity within the workplace. These standards, though gradually changing, have historically excluded black hairstyles, which reflects a broader issue of cultural and racial inclusivity. Today, this subject remains significant, especially in light of recurring news stories about hair discrimination, particularly in North America.
