Let's connect. Incidentally I was just chatting with a peer whose husband stepped away from being a professor at our local university. Part of the concern is the over accommodation for kids who were never taught to be resilient.

For me, lecturing a few times is what I needed before committing to FT teaching. It is a crisis of development. I have had 3rd year university students break down over simple things. Most recently, I spent a portion of a class consoling a student because she was next to present with her group and broke down because the group prior did well.
