In many ways, we’re undergoing a similar cultural experience. The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) raises profound questions regarding what it means to be human and what can and should be replaced by “machines.”
Design is dead. And we have killed it.

In 2018 I left UX proper to do a PhD, focused in AI. I completely agree with this post. Sadly, not many designers see this and are in denial about the future of this space. Thanks for sharing.
