I think the use of CX tells is why.

…entered design for a long time, as if it’s just what we do. A standard of professional practice. So why are most products and services not human-centered? Have we failed to practice good HCD, or has HCD failed in practice?

I think the use of CX tells is why. It has been reduced to transactional financial engagement. I am feel less and less connected with this space.
