I see it in practice all the time. As an aside I have neighbours all with at least a Masters degree, stuck in time and slowly becoming disconnected from what the market needs are. I think as many are in their 40s, this will have strong political impact as there is a slow rumbling of discontent. It is like they woke up one day and the world has changed but no one told them.
