It is easy to get caught up in the relentless pace of daily life. We rush from one commitment to the next, often forgetting the importance of taking a moment to pause, breathe, and engage in activities that bring us joy and fulfillment. And if, like me, you have a family, completing university classes, and all the other things we all have going on, it is so easy to say, you have no time. However, I have found, as part of my focus on mental well being, carving out time for midday pastimes can be a revolutionary act of self-care and resistance against the culture of constant business.
